I have a birthday tradition of taking myself and a £20 note to a carboot sale and indulging my love of junk. And if a bacon sandwich happens along the way then all the better…
On to the loot.
This cute little pendant was £1 and I have diy plans to make it into a bracelet, we will see.
A adorable chippy minty green toy car, £1 again. No plans for this guy he was just adorable.
Two sets of small plastic animals, safari animals and dinosaurs. I know it’s toally two seasons ago but im going to diy these into Christmas ornaments with glitter and paint. They were all 50p bargino.
Little mermaid video, just for fun. And because Disney is awesome. Again 50p.
Next up a book called the complete self educator with chapters on things like chemistry and politics and other exciting things. It looked intriguing and at only 50p.
A Christmas tin that I will fill with bakes goodies for some lucky relative during the festive period, a splurge at £1.
Another find, stilton cloche with marble base. Heavy as anything but only £1, this has many many uses currently holding the plastic animals in wait…
Finally a children’s book from the 70s with some gorgeous illustrations and stories, for 10p.
Not last of the big spenders but that’s what I love about carboot sales, it’s the best of birthday traditions.
